Here is a picture of just a few of the many that I have received.
Each time I have read a handwritten note, a comment on my blog, or a letter in my email has meant so much to me. Not being able to leave the house for so long and do the things I normally do has been difficult to say the least. But I have received so much encouragement from all of you, and that has helped make this time of healing so much easier.
Paula and Tracey, I want to say a special thank you to both of you as well; I am just blown away by your thoughtfulness to me. You have both been such a blessing.
This week the boys and I were startled by the sound of a car honking in our front yard. Matthew looked out the window and realized that it was the mail man. He had a package for us.
He ran out to get the mail, and he returned with a box. He said, "Mom, it's something for you!"
I thought to myself, "I didn't order anything...."
So I was naturally very curious to see what was inside this box.
Imagine my surprise when I saw this.....
Along with these things......
Yvette is one of the most thoughtful people that I have never met in real life.
I had mentioned to her not long ago that I had a big Fozzie Bear collection, and of course, she knows about my
I was blown away by the time she took to put this package together for me.
And if the surprise in my mailbox was not enough, today, I get to meet her in real life. Yvette and her mom are coming all the way to Crazyville to visit with me and my family, and of course, Allie.
I am so excited!
And obviously I will take pictures and take notes so that I can tell you all about it.
(Mia, if you are reading this......I want to give you fair warning......Apparently Yvette is an even better stalker than me; the two of us together could be dangerous.
So if I were you, I would not be surprised at all if the two of us show up on your door step one day. I'm just saying is all.)
I am a blessed girl indeed to have so many bloggy friends that pray for me, and I just want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.
You are all such a blessing to me.

I hope you've figured out that we like you! You are easy to love, Amy! Even though we haven't met, your voice is always clear as a bell when I read your blog. I'm still praying for you. I know this is hard, but God is faithful and you are going to be dancing the polka soon!
Thanks for the shout out! You're posts have been great while you've been recuperating, so I can't wait to see what is to come when you're in full gear again. Have a great day! God Bless!
OH WHAT FUN!!! Wish I could be there! God just gives and gives doesn't He?
Well all I have to say to you and Yvette is.....BRING IT ON!!! LOL
Prayers,hugs and good thoughts always!!!
How wonderful. It is a blessing to bless others. Thanks for the honary mention! :-)
I like that little frame with sunflowers. Can't read it but too cute. Is that a witch on the corner? Oh my, what a story there.
I saw a frog of some sort the other day and thought of you and your hatred--or rather very weakened love--for them.
Can't wait to hear the report on your visit with REAL friends today. hehe.
Love,
Paula
Hi Amy! It was so nice to meet you in person today! I had such a wonderful time lying around chatting it up. As soon as you're up and about we'll have to go stalk to Mia ;)
PS. I think this may have helped with my recently dampened bloggy mo-jo....the stories are already forming in my head. THANK YOU!!!
Well Amy you cannot come visit me in the summer. Summers mean frogs. Teeny tiny ones, bulfrogs, tree frogs, any kinda frog you want (or don't want) we get 'em in the summer. I strongly dislike them. And I really really hate when I pull into the driveway and one of them is sitting on the doorstoop. Ewwwwwwww!
So come visit in the winter. Perhaps I can get Mark Wahlberg to stop by ;-)
have a great visit!! You remain in my prayers!!
In His Graces~Pamela
I dont know who sent you that Wicked Witch card... but that's hilarious! I hope you had a great weekend!
Amy,
Thank you for your sweet comments. I think I need to learn from you in the bed making department. I rarely, if ever, make my bed.
Hope you had a wonderful time with Yvette.
Love,
Nicole
How sweet - you are very loved! Hope you continue to do well!
Have a good day - Kellan
What a thoughtful gesture. I hope that you enjoy your visit.
Oh how fun! Enjoy your visit.
I am giggling as I see the pic of the frog w/ his tongue sticking out... and remembering the entry about the frog in the potty!
God Bless your recovery and you!
Hey, ladybug! Thanks for the encouragement about my book...I'm terrible at the self-promotion thing! But God has it all worked out and I'm just along for the ride!
I've been meaning to ask: What's with the Wicked Witch of the West card in the bottom right corner? Surly they're not suggesting...
Don't you just feel great when someone cares and they show it? Nothing says "get well" like a hand-writen card!
How could we not love you and want you to get better, you're a honey.
Now I know I'm going to come across as really ditzy, but I have been assuming Crazyville is a name you made up for privacy reasons, but just in case, is it a real place?
Amy, you have so many wonderful blogging friends!!! I know you have touched many people with your wonderful wit, humor, and your love for the Lord! God wanted you to do this blog and it has proven 10-fold as to why you should keep writing! I'll be your agent when you get your book deal!!!!
I LOVE YOU!!!
Mom :)
