It just doesn't seem possible.
Shannon and I are both so proud of the young man that he has become.
He is so smart and computer savvy, that if it wasn't for the fact that he looks a lot like me, I would swear that he was someone else's child. :)
Matthew has an amazing heart and love for the Lord. I cannot even begin to tell you how many times God has used Matthew to encourage me during difficult times in my life.
I know that God has special plans for him.
Anyway, I just wanted to take the time today to say......

Seems like yesterday that my 27 yr. old son and 25 year old daughter were 16.
He sounds like an awesome kid! I know you're proud.
How wonderful it must be to be a parent and to have a young child be so devoted to God. I never experienced Christ as child and I've never had children but I can imagine that for any Christian parent, for their child to have an intimate relationship with God would be the most blessed thing.

Time sure does fly! I remember when Sandra would bring pictures of your boys in to work to show us and they were so little. Matthew is such a handsome young man and I know you are so proud. Hope he had a wonderful birthday.
