I have to be at the hospital at 8:30am, and the surgery should take place somewhere around lunch time or after; they could not give me a definite time.
No more housework for me.......for a whole month!
Shannon is really going to miss me being able to take care of the house.
He's a man who really appreciates a woman's touch in the home.;)
I'm not sure how I am going to handle laying in bed for so long, but between reading, blogging, and watching television hopefully I will make it.
Thank goodness Melissa cut and highlighted my hair Tuesday, so at least my hair will look good while I am bedridden, amen? ;)
The doctor said that after a month of laying in bed (with good hair) that I should be able to resume my normal activities. He said if all goes well, I should feel like a new person.
I certainly hope he is right about that. (But just in case he isn't, could you all pray about that for me? Thanks!)
It will definitely feel good to be back to normal.:)
Well at least my sense of humor and
And one more thing before I go, I have been given an award from my blogging friend, Tracey; she gave me this award from Arte y pico. Tracey loves the Lord and her family. On her blog she shares stories from her life and some fiction stories that she likes to write as well (and they are very captivating stories). She and her husband are going through the process right now of trying to adopt a baby, so she has also opened up her heart to share about all of the aspects of adoption. You should check her blog out if you haven't already. Her blog is called Grace Comes By Hearing.
Tracey absolutely made my day with this award. Now while I am all sickly and bedridden (with good hair), I can just look at this award to lift my spirits.
I have so much fun posting and reading blogs, so this award means a lot to me. Through blogging I have met some of the most amazing women. Women who make me laugh, touch my heart, encourage my spirit when I am down, and who willingly share their love for the Lord and what the Lord has taught them through His Word.
The rules of this award say that I am supposed to pick "five"(or twelve) blogs to pass this award along to; I don't know exactly how to pick "only" five (or twelve), because I know of like fifty blogs that deserve it much more than I do.
But, since I am a rule follower, I will stick with "only" five (or twelve); please just know that I think each and every one of you deserve this award.
The five (or twelve) ladies that I am passing this award to are very special to me; they are like dear friends. Each one of them have touched me and blessed my life in so many different ways. So, that being said, it is my privilege to pass this award on to these wonderful ladies. (If you click on their names, it will take you to their blogs; just tell them Amy sent you.;))

If you aren't already reading these ladies' blogs, you must begin to do so now.
As a matter of fact, you should visit all of the blogs that you see listed in my "Links To Lurk" section. Trust me when I tell you that every single one of them are amazing ladies. They are all deserving of this award.
I'm just saying is all.
And the rules to go along with this award are:
1. Pick five (5) blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also for contributing to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2. Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.
3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself. Award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of “Arte y Pico” blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award (http://arteypico.blogspot.com/)
Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers for me.
I cannot begin to tell you how much your thoughtfulness means to me.
I also want to wish all of you a "Happy Fourth of July!"
Eat some good stuff for me and enjoy the fireworks!
Hopefully, I will be back to blogging soon.
God Bless,
Amy:)
