This day back in the year 1969, is the day that I was born.
And since I am still on bed rest (with good hair), Shannon and I will not be able to go anywhere to celebrate, so we will ring in my 39th year of living right here at home.
Hopefully, we will have a little birthday cake that looks something like this one does. You know, something simple. :)
After eating a romantic dinner (that Shannon prepares) by candle light, and stuffing ourselves full of birthday cake, I hope that we can curl up on the bed together, and watch
Sigh.
Then last, but certainly not least, I want Shannon to slow dance with me to one of our favorite old love songs. (Of course, I can't really slow dance with this bad foot of mine, but a girl can dream on her birthday, can't she?) ;)
Sigh.
If all goes according to plan, this birthday will be another favorite memory of mine.:)
And Kenny, thank you for making my birthday a special one. I love you, Friend! I will be posting about your visit last night soon (with more pictures and less words, of course.) ;)
And last but not least, to Dianne, thank you for making the new blog header for my birthday! I love it.
Going to the Mediterranean and getting to write my name in the sand was a really special thing for me to do, so thank you for making the memory of it even more special. You are a treasure! :)
Just one more thing, tomorrow morning, Shannon is taking Allie back to the vet to see if the heart medication he put her on is working, and to decide what to do about repairing her torn ACL. So if you feel led to, please pray for her. Shannon and I appreciate all of your prayers so much.
