"Before I speak, I have something important to say." ~Groucho Marx.

Even though I've decided to start blogging again, I still have no idea what I'm going to write about. I'm touched that my mom & Liz are pressuring me excited for me to be back "in business," but I sit here and think to myself, "I've got nothing to say. What am I going to say to the ten people that will be hanging on to my every word?"

Oh, the pressure.

Okay, probably only two people hanging on to my every word, but still, you get my point.

So, this morning, as I was thinking about this dilemma of mine, I saw the "Verse of the Day" on the right side of my blog.

This is what it said:

Moses said to the LORD, "O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue." The LORD said to him, "...I will help you speak and will teach you what to say."

Exodus 4:10-12 (NIV)

How cool is that? It's like God knew what I was thinking? He's very clever that way, amen?" ;)

I love what Erma Bombeck (my hero) said about the time she wrote obituaries for the paper, "I was terrible at straight items. When I wrote obituaries, my mother said the only thing I ever got them to do was die in alphabetical order."

Mom & Liz, rest assured, you don't ever have to worry about anything being written in alphabetical order on this blog. ;)

I know eventually, I'll figure it all out. Like Charles Schulz (my other hero) said, "I think I've discovered the secret of life, you just hang around until you get used to it."

So, that's exactly what I'm going to do. One blog post at a time.

Glad you're back! I'll be here as I can. I especially like the advice of Mr. Schultz...

I'm just hanging around in my current life and hopefully I'll get used to it!

Take your paces, sister. If it doesn't feel right, don't write. I've slowed down a lot with my writing.
