Wicked Witch Card Mystery Revealed

Several of you asked about the meaning behind the "Wicked Witch" get well card that I showed you all a picture of Sunday.

I received that card from my friend Kenny.

From the first time that I met Kenny in high school, when we are together all we do is laugh.

So, the card was just his way of being funny, and putting a smile on my face.

I don't think he thinks of me as a witch; or if he does he never mentioned it to me.

Kenny reads my blog everyday, and most days he seems to like it. But if I ramble on too long on a post, he does not like that. He will send me a Myspace message complaining that my long post put him to sleep. Then he informs me that everyone that reads my blog would be much happier if I just stuck to showing a lot of pictures with a lot less words.;)

(I told him that I would work on a Clif Notes style blog especially for him.)

Here is a picture of Kenny so you can all "meet" him.

Hi, Kenny!;)

On a different note, I am having a difficult time again with my foot, so I am back in the bed most of the day again. It hurts too much to walk around right now. I also can't sit at the computer for very long, so when I am feeling better I will be back around to read all of your posts. I didn't want you all to think I had forgotten about you.:)

I already have a couple of posts completed for the rest of this week for my blog because we are celebrating two birthdays in our house this week. So stop back by this week and celebrate them with us if you get the chance.:)

And as soon as I can, I am going to post the pictures of Yvette and me from our meeting Sunday. We had the best time together. We talked so much, it was like we had known each other since the third grade. She was lovely. And just let me say, "Allie LOVED her! A lot!"

I love mygoodness' comment to Kenny to quit 'plaining and have an expresso. Seems someone's a little grouchy in his old age..."over the hill" haha.

I hate to hear about your foot.

Keep trusting and having faith "this too shall pass" and you are growing more into the character of Christ with this trial.
Love,
Paula

Hey, I'm glad I stumbled across your blog - from marismorningroom.blogspot.com. Gotta tell you, I'm hooked by the Erma Bombeck you use. I loved her and was afraid I was the only one who remembered her wit and fun. Anyway, glad to "meet" you. If you're interested in more of me, I'm at drinkthecup.blogspot.com.

Have a beautiful day!

Hey Grumpy Pants Kenny. Nice to meet you.

I was just reding Genesis again the other day and one thing that stood out for me was "...He rested..." now how can you argue with an eternal principle? We love you, we'll miss you but we don't want to see you till you've had a good rest. ;o)

Blessings on you.

That's funny that you mentioned that Allie loved Yvette. That's exactly how I decide if people are on the up and up or not. If the dogs like them, then they must be okay :)

So sorry to hear about your foot! And I think Kenny sounds fabulous! My best friend in the whole world gave me a plaque that reads "I have flying monkeys and I'm not afraid to use them." Best present I ever got! :)

As my boys always say, "It must be opposite day!" Because if you're a witch, then I'm Dorothy! Well, we aren't in Kansas anymore, are we? Isn't is great to have an old friend to be goofy with? Kenny sounds nice.
I'm sorry you're having a tough time. I know it must be difficult to follow those doctors' orders! One day soon this will be a memory. Hang in there, friend.
And thank you for your sweet words on my blog about the book. It really has been a blessing!
Praying for you...

Hey Amy! Sorry to hear your leg is still hurting - I think that's the Lords way of telling you to sit your butt down and follow doctors orders :)

Nice to finally meet you Kenny! We've heard so much about you. I'll send some reading glasses your way so all of Amy's words won't give you such a headache. ;)

I loved meeting you and your lovely family too - including Allie :) We'll have to do it again soon. I hope to post about it soon. I'll let you know as soon as I get it done. Take care of yourself.

((HUGS))

Hello all, I never meant for my card to be a topic. Amy has been a good friend for a long time so I would never consider her a witch, atleast the Amy I know.
A Clif note version blog would be of great help to me, but I can manage with the way things are going.
Take care, it want be long till you are up and about.

We should all be blessed with a friend like Kenny! After all, laughter is the best medicine. I will pray for your foot to heal quickly, I know you must be awfully frustrated! Try to enjoy those birthdays and be sure to take it easy (you may never get another chance, lol).
