Happy Labor Day (And Company Came Calling To Crazyville Again!)

I just wanted to take a moment to wish all of my bloggy buddies a "Happy Labor Day!"

My weekend was made very special by a visit from two of my blogging buddies. I knew that Yvette was coming to see me, but she (and Shannon) surprised me by bringing another blogging buddy of mine, Tina from the Golden Goodness blog. When I saw her out the window I was so surprised and very excited! (And she was carrying the Vera Bradley purse that I want with the "Frankly Scarlet" pattern, but that is for another post.) I had never met Tina in "real life" before, and she was exactly like I expected she would be, full of golden goodness. Yvette and Tina are two of the nicest ladies that you could ever hope to meet.

Sigh.

And I know what you are probably not thinking as you look at that picture......You think we look familiar, right?

We sort of look like Kelly, Sabrina, and Jill, don't you think?

You know what, don't answer that. Just forget you ever saw this picture. Thanks!

We had so much fun eating pizza and chocolate pudding pie, talking, and laughing.

We piled up on my bed and talked all night long (literally) like teenage girls.

It was so much fun!

There was only one person missing......

But we were all three thinking of you, Mia! We even saved you a piece of pizza served up on my beautiful dishes that were hand made in Positano, Italy.

Sigh.

Yvette, Tina, and I weren't the only ones who had a good time. Allie was in on the fun as well. Tina and Yvette were so patient with her, bless their hearts. Allie thought that they had come to see her, so she just wanted to entertain her guests.

And don't be confused, Allie loves her some Yvette!

Tina and Yvette, thank you both for making my night so special and for being so patient with my Allie Girl. And thank you for the birthday gifts that you both brought me. (I'll post pictures of the gifts soon.) I loved everything you gave me; I even loved the big bag of cotton balls, Tina. ;)

(Shudder.)

My cup runneth over.

Oh that looks like so much fun! I love the "Charlie's Angels" photo. Just one question? Where did poor Shannon sleep while you three giggling gurtees were yacking all night? ;o)

Glad to see Allie smiling and happy.

Okay this meeting in real life without me is happening WAY TOO OFTEN!!!
Oh I'm just kidding! What a blast I bet you all had. And I will take that slice of pizza and I MIGHT even return the plate....might.
There is such a thing as "friends at first sight" or maybe in this case "friends at first comment" LOL!
I have had kind of a rough weekend so this just warmed my heart, made me smile and laugh! Thank you girls!
You have done a good deed from afar!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend gals!

It looks like you had so much fun!! I wish I lived near Crazyville. I'd be on your you doorstep with a Starbucks in a heartbeat. I would even make Allie feel like I came to visit her. :)

BTW, I love Charlie's Angels!!! I had the barbies when I was a kid. You three look just like them. :)

Have a happy labor day! :)

God bless,
Gina

Aw, it was SO much stinkin' fun...well, not literally, but that's probably only because we didn't move in. We certainly talked about enough 'stinky stuff'! lol

I'm am so glad I was able to come meet you in person...you are just a sweet and awesome in person as you are on your lovely blog!

Thanks for not freakin' out about the cottonballs, you are such a good sport!

Thank you for the dinner and pie and many, many laughs.

It's awesome to go somewhere you've never been and feel like you've been there before...you and the family are very welcoming!

Much love to you!
Tina

How wonderful to not have just one bloggy friend close but to have TWO. I know Yvette is like a half hour so I'm guessing Tina is somewhat like that. Is Mia seriously close to you or only iin your alls dreams. :-)

Can't wait to see your bday gift pics.

Can't wait to see the purse you are referencing also. I'm not "up" on Vera Bradley's designs. I just know they are expensive. Boy, is she expanding too. I was looking in a window of a local store and low and behold there were Vera B's flip flops! Go figure.
Love ya,
Paula
