(Not So) Wordless Wednesday

My friend Kenny just recently went to Orange Beach, Alabama for a little vacation getaway.

(I have introduced you all to Kenny before, but today I would like you all to say hello to him again.)

Hi Kenny!:)

Shannon and I were planning on following Kenny all the way to the beach to hang out with him and his friends; that is until I had to go through all of my back surgery and recovery nonsense. So, needless to say, we couldn't go.

Sunday night, when I checked my emails, I saw that I had some mail from Kenny.

I opened it up, and this is what it said: "you are not the only one who can do this."

And those words were followed by two pictures.

Isn't he the sweetest thing? These pictures made me smile.

Sigh.

I was so excited that he did that for me. It makes me feel like I was at the beach with him, as opposed to riding the sofa here in Crazyville.

Thank you, Kenny!

Having my name in the sand at Orange Beach is almost as exciting has having my face on pink, white, and blue M&Ms.

I'm just saying.;)

Job 8:21
"He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy."

Amy,
That was sweet of him and I love the m and m's! Fun idea.

Meghan has her 16th birthday party in November and I may do that for her!

Glad to hear I'm not the only closer fan out there!

Have a great day!

That was so sweet of Kenny! You must have felt like a VIP (which you are anyway).

Now remember there are times and seasons for everything, perhaps the Lord wanted you to slow down for a bit and rest and well if you wouldn't do it on your own, then he would find another way to get you to rest. He's quite mysterious that way, so even if this down time seems frustrating and pointless, there will come a time when you will see these strands woven into His grand design and be greatful for it.

So ride that sofa honey, and try to imagine how beautiful the design of your teapestry will be when it's done!

Love and blessings and lots of hugs - especially from Phillipa!

I TOTALLY wanted to get my mom some of those M&M's for her birthday...ya know, with her face on it! But they were crazy expensive considering they were M&M's and I already had one gift for her. But they are SO fun. Love 'em!

Yeah, I worked all morning on trying to get my updates working and I think I figured it out! I don't know what was going on but many people told me they didn't know I was updating. :*( Thanks for letting me know!

And your lunch sounds delish!! Yes, High School was so easy - you could eat whatever you wanted and never gained a pound. Ahhh, those were the days.

In the words of my teen daughters, He's your BFF for sure!

Now if he'd just get you guys an agent and hit the Christian comedy circuit, you'd be good to go!

Better yet...

Our names scripted in heaven...

scripted on the palms of our Father's hands. Now that's a picture that's priceless.

I do, however, love the m & m's.

Oh how clever and sweet! What a neat guy that Kenny is. That Alabama coast sand looks a little different from that European sand huh? But I know you would have loved to be there.
Just know that you are prayed for every morning here at Grace Christian School!!

Hola, Kenny! How you doing?

Hi Amy! I am still loving your face on those M&Ms! And I have never tried tracing my name into the sand at the beach. I have traced. S.O.S. , though. :D

You are funny Amy. I get in from work and find this. Had I known I would have written a little neater. Thankfully you have a short simple name because the waves where coming in quick:). Wish you could have been there with us.

Kenny is just precious!
I love those M&M's.
I'm sorry you and Shannon couldn't go on the trip. I always think...there's a reason.
I will take lots of pictures in San Antonio. Thanks for the prayers for us.
Love,
Valerie

How sweet of Kenny to write your name in the sand for you, since you couldn't be there.
