(Sort of ) Wordless Wednesday

After being at the hospital with my dad for a week, I returned home Friday afternoon, only to have Daniel greet me as I entered the living room.

The first words out of his mouth were, "Hi, Mom! I'm out of clean pants to wear. I had to wear my swim trunks today, because they were the only thing clean in my closet."

Sigh.

Proverbs 31:21
She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

At least he's creative. Thanks for letting me know our family isn't the only one that has these moments.

Hilarious way to start the day! Thanks for the laugh.

That's funny and sweet all in one. I feel bad for you though, had I been there I'd help ya with the laundry.

I use to have a rule...when you only have three pairs of underwear clean, you are to tell me. Otherwise, plan on wearing dirty ones or none. :-)

That's too funny!

When my kids were fairly young we had a basket for towels and colored undies.... a basket for whites (towels, dish towels, wash clothes, white undies) things that needed bleach....and a basket for their jeans, shorts, shirts....
and one for the nicer clothes.

I wrote on each basket with a sharpie the water temp. etc. I ususally did the laundry, but it helped teach them for when they did do it. (then there's the getting them to do it part.....;))

Thanks for always being so faithful to comment on my posts. I'm always eager to see if anyone has commented and can always count on sweet, little Amy!
