Twilight

Sunday afternoon, my family and I went to see the new movie Twilight. I loved the book, so I was very excited to see the movie. (I should probably mention that I heard about this wonderfully romantic series of books from my bloggy buddies Becky, Liz, and Ellie. Thanks, ladies!)

As you can see, hubby was very excited too.;)

Before the movie started I took a moment to show "The Kid" some love.

Don't judge.

Here is my family waiting for the movie to begin. Matthew, Daniel, Shannon, and Scarlet...... Don't they all look so excited? ;)

They tried to do the "foot maneuver." If you're not familiar with the foot maneuver, it is when you prop your feet on the back of the seat in front of you, in hopes that no one will want to sit there. I should probably also mention that this maneuver rarely works, but my boys still keep on trying.;)

We all loved the movie. Especially Scarlet and me. We just could not get enough of Edward and Bella.

Sigh......

After the movie Scarlet and I had to sneak off to the ladies room. If you've read this blog before, then you probably already know that I have a knack for finding interesting things in public restrooms. This time was no exception.

But "Bren + Bone" just doesn't sound as romantic as "Edward + Bella"...Does it? ;)

Dear Amy,
Lovely blog, really enjoyed browsing. I am glad the film lived up to your expectations! It looks as if you were the only ones watching the film!

Up until now, I have had no interest in reading the book or seeing the movie...but I have to say, all of the blog entries that I have read have got me a little curious. Maybe I'll have to see if I can get a copy of the book from the library. :o)

At our theater we got "in trouble" once by the little usher police for having our feet on the seat in front of us. :) My hubby still does it but we're always on the lookout.

Glad you had a nice outing with the family. I dont' think I could drag my husband to this movie. Shannon is a trooper! How'd the guys like it?

My niece is reading these books and went to the movie Fri. night to see it. I haven't talked to her yet about it.

Have a great day!
Love,
Val

Oh I'm glad you got to go and see it. I'll be waiting until it comes out on video, since I refuse to watch it until I've read the book! :) I'm like that ya know!

Oh Amy. Last night I went to see it again and Matt joined me. He ended up laughing so hard tears were streaming down his face and we had to leave. Sigh. I'll at least give him points for making the effort. :)

I love the picture of the four in the movie theature, that made me laugh, especially seeing scarlet and all. She seemed perfectly content. Too bad her legs are not long enough to make sure no one sits in front of her. Poor dear won't be able to see the movie...:)

Ames, I am so far behind on my blog surfing. Very lovely pics of your family. I noticed those right off...the three new b/w ones. Where's your b/w of your baby girl? ☺

I've never heard of the book or the movie.

So you must live in a bigger town or at least one that the theater is heavily frequented. You have the sloped theater. We don't have that except in the bigger city.

Glad you and the fame had such a nice time.

Ignore my observations but do hubby and son have the same shoes on?

Love,
Paula

Frankly, I believe Scarlet looks the most excited of all! And you look awful 'chummy' with the Kid (I can't believe Shannon allowed that - look where your hand is! I'm just sayin')

I'm glad you guys got there early enough to claim your seats - and the ones in front of you. HA!

AND I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE al of your black and white family photos :)

Much love to you guys!

Wish I cold have gone Sunday, but I plan on catching it in a week or so. Along with the foot thing I will begin talking loud if someone appears to want to set near me.

Did you love Twilight??

My three daughters(12,12, and 13) had to go to the very first show last thursday night---at midnight. And they then saw it three more times. Oh to be so young again!

They got me hooked on the books and I am going to see the movie next week with a friend. I can't wait!

I also just wanted to tell you that I really enjoy your blog.

Eh hem, well I hate to admit it but I was quite stumped as to who Scarlett was. Despite stalking your blog for almost 6 months and being fuly aware of your deep love affair with purses, I was very slow.

That being said, I am dying to see this movie now!
