More Of Signs And Thoughts Of Spring

You may or may not have noticed that I changed the picture for my blog header. This new picture is one that I took of some daisies in my front yard. I didn't notice this until I had finished loading my pictures onto the computer, but there is a worm hanging on to one of the daisy petals......The more I thought about it, I realized, this picture represents the events "in my life" so well.....beautiful with the occasional worm.

So anyway, last Sunday, I shared with you several pictures that I took of the signs of spring. Today I am going to share a few more pictures that I took around my home and some more quotes as well. I hope you enjoy them.

There is a flower, a little flower with silver crest and golden eye, that welcomes every changing hour, and weathers every sky.
~James Montgomery

You must lose a fly to catch a trout.~ English Proverb

If dandelions were hard to grow, they would be most welcome on any lawn.~Andrew V. Mason

Anger is as a stone cast into a wasp's nest. ~Pope Paul VI

Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world. ~Virgil A. Kraft

The serpent, the king, the tiger, the stinging wasp, the small child, the dog owned by other people, and the fool: these seven ought not to be awakened from sleep. ~Chanakya

Daisies are like sunshine to the ground.~Drew Barrymore

A weed is no more than a flower in disguise.

You must grow like a tree, not like a mushroom ~Janet Erskine Stuart

April hath put a spirit of youth in everything.~William Shakespeare

Like dreams, small creeks grow into mighty rivers.

Spring has come when you can put your foot on three daisies.

Song of Solomon 2:12
Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.

Beautiful Amy!
Is photography a hobbie or career or both? You have much God-given talent that's for sure!
I LOVED your post on the Bible study the other day. I've been meaning to stop by & tell you that. What you wrote was such a powerful testament of how great our God is. Thank you so much for sharing.
Also, our paths must have been crossing on my blog as you were leaving a comment I was adding the meaning of Amiyah's name to my blog and a song. I got done & noticed a comment. Couldn't believe you're comment was in line with what I added & then some. Okay, got to run to Walgreens real quick & get everyone ready for church.
I love visiting your blog.
Love ya,
Lelia

Your pictures make me think of the hymn, "This is my Father's World". Thank you for capturing so many beautiful evidences of God's creation and His presence. The quotes are powerful as well.

I did notice your blog heading change immediately upon entering your site - I'm a 'daisy' girl. I like this new picture too - and the lesson from the 'worm'.

Thanks for glimpses of spring - you have refreshed my heart.
Blessings,
Joy

Hi Amy,
Thanks for the encouraging comments you left me today! We both must be iron sharpening iron! I love the new header picture! It is beautiful and funny (which from what I can tell is you in a nutshell!). I did think it was interesting you found a quote by Drew Barrymore that fit right in with all of the others!

It looks like you live in a beautiful area. We are still waiting for flowers to show up around here!!

Hi, Amy! These pictures are so lovely that I couldn't pass up a comment. I love all of your proverbs/quotes too! Isn't it fun to go on a God-hunt with camera in hand? I've given my boys this assignment before and was amazed at the things they found. Thank you for getting my heart ready for spring, my friend!
