Just For Laughs~ "A Little Marriage Humor"

Early in our marriage, Shannon did not like to drive the car if I was sitting in the passenger seat.

He said that I was a "Back Seat Driver."

He was definitely probably right about that.

I told him I wouldn't be as bad of a passenger if we could just get one of those Driver's Education style cars. You know, the ones that have brakes on both sides of the car.

Anyway, that being said, one morning I walked into the kitchen, only to see this cartoon laying on the counter.

Attached to it was a little note that said, "This made me think of you."

Sigh.

I love the Milton Berle quote!!!

I am just like you...I can't relax when someone else is driving...Usually he lets me drive, but occationally he does and I try so hard to keep my mouth shut...and I ineviably end up saying something...ugghh!!!

This is just too sweet, and I have to say, I'm guilty.

Thanks for the smiles.

Yep, sounds like me....I'm not a very good passenger either. (Shhh! Don't tell my hubby that I admitted that.)

We actually had this conversation last night on the way home from his company picnic! He said, "I'm really NOT a bad driver". I assured him that I didn't think he was-EVERYONE is except me :) I don't like NOT being in control of the car!

Back seat driver? What's that? Honestly I have no idea what a back seat driver is? Just ask Larry he'll tell you! :)
